Terms of Use

Effective: 2026-07-16 · Last updated: 2026-07-16 · Version 1.1.0

These Terms of Use govern your use of the HOLD application, operated by HOLD. By using HOLD, you agree to these terms.

1. What HOLD does

HOLD helps property owners organise and monitor recurring costs, bills, mortgage obligations and payday contributions. You can track amounts, due dates and renewal schedules, upload documents for automatic extraction, and receive reminders.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use HOLD. By registering an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and are legally able to enter into these terms.

3. User responsibilities

You agree to: use HOLD only for lawful purposes; provide accurate information about your payments and property; not attempt to access other users' data; not misuse or disrupt the service; and not use the service for any illegal or fraudulent purpose.

4. Accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter or upload. While HOLD may assist with extracting data from documents, you should always review extracted information for accuracy before relying on it.

5. Estimates

Future payment dates, amounts and currency conversions displayed in HOLD may be estimates. Calendar-aware recurrence calculations are used where possible, but actual billing dates and amounts are determined by the merchant or billing party. Always verify directly with the relevant provider.

6. Mortgage calculations

Mortgage scenarios, repayment estimates, savings calculations and RBA projections are estimates only. They are not financial advice. Calculations are based on the information you provide and assumptions about interest rates, repayment frequency and loan terms. Actual repayments are determined by your lender. Always consult a qualified financial professional before making financial decisions.

7. RBA information

Cash rate information is sourced from official publications of the Reserve Bank of Australia. HOLD displays this information for reference only. The impact of rate changes on your mortgage is an estimate based on your loan details and assumes your lender passes on the full change. Your actual repayment changes may differ.

8. AI features

HOLD may use AI-assisted extraction to help identify information from documents you upload. AI extraction assists the user and does not provide financial or legal advice. You should always review extracted information before relying on it. HOLD does not use your uploaded documents to train AI models.

9. User content

You retain ownership of the information and documents you upload to HOLD. You grant HOLD a limited licence to process your data solely to provide the service to you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any documents you submit.

10. Account security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities under your account. Protect your authentication credentials and notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.

11. Availability

We strive to maintain the service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Background services such as exchange-rate refreshes and reminder delivery may be temporarily unavailable without preventing core dashboard functionality.

12. Intellectual property

The HOLD application, including its design, code and branding, is owned by HOLD. Merchant logos and brand assets remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HOLD is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of HOLD. This does not exclude liability for gross negligence, fraud, or liability that cannot be lawfully limited.

14. Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer rights you may have under applicable law that cannot be lawfully excluded.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will require renewed acceptance. Previous versions are preserved.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the Laws of New South Wales, Australia.
